Intentional Career

A 10-week

Guided programme for professional women

who want more clarity, confidence, influence and control supported by experienced and accredited executive coaches

Something

Brought You Here

Maybe it’s one of these questions, or maybe it’s all of them:

  • Why am I working this hard and still not where I want to be?
  • Why do I keep second-guessing myself?
  • How do I get on without sacrificing everything else that matters?
  • Why are some things so unfair at work?
  • Why does no one seem to notice?
  • What do I actually want next?
  • Why am I stretched so thin?
  • Why do I always end up at the bottom of my own list?
  • Is this really what I want for the next ten years?
  • What do I do about the difficult things I face as a woman?

If any of that resonated, you’re exactly who My Intentional Career was built for.

Here’s What We Know About You

You’re not failing. You’re not behind.

You’re almost certainly doing too much, for too many people, while quietly carrying the weight of your own life ambitions alongside everyone else’s needs.

You’ve built real expertise. You’ve navigated complexity inside and outside work that most people don’t see. Yet, something feels off, like you’re surviving rather than progressing. Moving, but not quite arriving. We know this because we’ve been there ourselves. And because every week we hear from capable, experienced, successful women who are navigating careers, responsibilities, families, relationships, ambitions and life's inevitable curveballs.

But they still question themselves.

Am I doing enough, achieving enough or focused enough?

We designed My Intentional Career because women deserve a space to stop, reflect, reset and intentionally design what comes next.

Why My Intentional Career is Different?

Most programmes offer a piece of the picture. A promotion strategy. A networking group. A leadership course. A personal development plan that focuses on fixing your weaknesses.

None of them ask the question that actually matters:

How do I build a successful career that works alongside the life I want to live?

Careers don't happen in isolation. They are shaped by confidence, values, relationships, communication, resilience, and the very real challenges that come with being a woman in the workplace.

My Intentional Career holds all of that at once

How do I build a successful career that works with the life I want to live?

How do I build my confidence, get noticed and navigate the challenges of being a woman in the workplace?

Careers don’t happen in isolation. They are shaped by beliefs, values, confidence, resilience, the way we communicate, the people around us and the complexities we face inside and outside work.

Nearly every time, the biggest challenge isn't capability. It’s finding the time, space and support to step back and think intentionally about what you want and how to get there.

That's exactly what My Intentional Career is designed to do.

That's exactly what My Intentional Career is designed to do.

We talk about the things most programmes avoid

  • Confidence and self-doubt
  • Imposter syndrome
  • Burnout and exhaustion
  • Boundaries and capacity
  • Being overlooked or underestimated
  • Difficult situations and workplace politics
  • Asking for what you deserve
  • Financial confidence
  • Getting greater visibility
  • Career setbacks and reinvention
  • Harassment and other unwanted challenges
  • Balancing ambition with the realities of life
  • Life transitions

These are the issues that shape careers. Ignoring them doesn’t make them disappear.

By the end of My Intentional Career, you will have:

  • Greater confidence in yourself and your decisions
  • A clearer understanding of your strengths, values and priorities
  • Practical tools to navigate challenges at work and in life
  • More confidence communicating, influencing and advocating for yourself
  • Stronger boundaries and better use of your energy
  • A trusted network of women who understand your world
  • A practical roadmap for what comes next
Is this right for you?

My Intentional Career is for you if:

  • You’re a professional woman who’s ready to invest in yourself
  • You’re successful, but know there is more to explore and you’re not quite sure how to get there
  • You’re navigating change, challenge or simply asking yourself: ‘What do I want next?’ in life or your career
  • You’re tired of programmes that tell you to fix your weaknesses and ready for one that builds on what you already are
  • You want support from women who truly understand the realities you face, not just the theory

A qualified executive coach and leadership consultant, I had a long corporate career in the UK and Hong Kong before founding The Career Business. For the last 17 years, I‘ve helped professionals, leaders and organisations across the UK and Asia-Pacific navigate careers, leadership and life's often complex challenges – from graduates to CEO’s across multiple industries

‘Thanks Liz. After such a tough time, our conversation helped me see things differently. I left feeling lighter, more positive and confident about my next steps’

Together we’ve spent thousands of hours helping women navigate the realities of work and life

We’ve also lived most of the challenges ourselves. We know that many of us are balancing ambitious careers while carrying much of the thinking, planning and responsibility that keeps work, home and family life running. This programme exists because of this. We believe every woman deserves the time and space to build a career that is truly her own and we are providing a platform for us all to do that.

Our Commitment to You

We want you to feel confident investing in yourself. If you engage with the programme in the first two weeks and don’t feel it’s right for you, reach out and we’ll discuss your options. We’ve designed this programme with real care, and we stand behind it.

Have questions?

We Have Answers.

  • Is this programme suitable for me if I’m not sure what I want next?

Absolutely. In fact, that’s one of the most common reasons women join. The programme is specifically designed to help you gain clarity, not just act on it.

  • How much time do I need each week?

We recommend setting aside 2 to 3 hours per week for the module content, the live call and your own reflection. It’s an investment, but one designed to fit around a busy life.

  • What if I miss a live call?

All live calls are recorded and available to participants. You won’t miss out if life gets in the way.

  • Do I need to have a specific career goal to join?

Not at all. Many women join without a clear goal and that’s exactly the point. We help you figure out what you want, not just how to get somewhere you’re not sure about.

  • What makes this different from therapy or mentoring?

This is a coaching and development programme. It is practical, forward focused and action oriented. We draw on frameworks, shared experience and evidence-based tools to help you move forward. It complements, but is different from, therapeutic support.

One More Thing Before You Go

If you read this far, something resonated.

Maybe it was a question you recognised. Maybe it’s the feeling that you’ve been putting yourself last for too long. Maybe it’s simply knowing that it’s time.

Whatever brought you here, we built this for you. Not the version of you that’s performing and pushing through. The one underneath, who knows she has more to offer, more to explore and more to become.

We’d be proud to be part of that journey.
